New survey - new toolbar

You've got to hand it to AltaVista, they've really taken this customer response seriously. I feel like I've personally designed the new site :)

Anyway for those who remember to tick the 'don't send me further information' box the newest string to AltaVista's bow is going to be a toolbar a la Google.

Proposed features include the normal search AV, search this site (so, they do do full text indexing), search images/mp3s and most usefully 'translate this page'.

Future features could include local search by ip address, an mp3 player and image saving feature (whats that?)

Got it too. I guess the toolbar business is the next thing for search engines.
Would be a bit crowded up there if you should have a toolbar from each of the majors.

Hope they're not shiffing too much
