Anyone else aware of the submission code?

Think it violates the ADA?

The ADA? Now there's a novel thought... visually impaired persons who rely on screen text readers will now find it difficult or impossible to submit web pages to AV. Now you may thing there may not be too many blind webmasters, but I've seen plenty of sites that MUST have been designed by someone who couldn't see! ;)

That is a very interesting angle on this whole situation. Now the only problem is finding a visually impaired individual and an attorney who will prosecute the case. Good Luck:)

for a UK situation I'd just email the RNIB (Royal National Institution for the Blind IIRC)...there must be some reasonably feisty organisations in the same vein in the US

it doesn't have to be a pro webmaster...it could be as simple as somebody who can't submit their home page, surely?...though damages might be bigger if money was at stake

Ok, I see where you were going with that Froggyman - just didn't sink in last night.

If you could make a case for that, you could also make a case against many major sites on that use nonstandard html. Basically any site that doesn't validate via the w3c is the exact same situation.

Sorry, ADA: Americans with Disabilities Act.

I have 2020 vision and still have a hard time deciphering the hieroglyphics. :)
