I just got the following message when I tried to add my URL to AV. But the site is up and happy. I tried submitting a friends site and it liked it.... any ideas? :(

WARNING: When we tried to obtain your URL, we got an error. If this is a 404 ("Not Found" ) then the site will be removed from the index (this may also occur if your server is down briefly). If you have misspelt it then just resubmit it.

AV.com or AV.uk?

I'm having the same trouble intermittently on submissions to UK, but only on sites I have hosted in the USA, not the UK. I'd guess some part of AV's network is down and AV.uk are having trouble seeing parts of the states.

Although the same doesn't seem to be happening in the other direction?

Anyhow, I wouldn't worry - just resubmit when it's sorted itself out.

I'm still getting this problem. The site IS NOT DOWN, so it suggests something else.

I contacted AV by e-mail and they replied apologizing and asking me to be patient whilst they deal with the 'technical difficulties'.
