AV - any good ?

Does AV provide traffic ?

An example:
Goto suggestion tool says 63479 searches on kw
#1 on AV gives 10 referrers for that kw, I know title and description can boost click rate, but I think these are in order, not brilliant but ok.

another 15464 searches on kw
#1 = 8 referrers...

I've seen stats for AV going down down down and now it has reached a level where I seriously consider AV a waiste of time...

Does anybody have any stats on WHO is using AV (not numbers but quality, i.e. demographics, age e.t.c.)

I don't believe that AV is worth the time at all, I have close to "exact" kw term placement on both google and AV and see almost nothing from AV, good traffic from google. The ratio has to be like 100:1 in favor of google. The good news is this..If google likes it, AV probably does too, so just hit for google and AV will follow.

There are some kw's that still provide quality traffic from AV, but nothing like it was a year ago. The steady fall off of referrers has been a constant downward slope. The changes AV made, the rush to Google, and the general net apathy have all contributed I believe.

This brings up a question I´ve been asking myself for quite some time: Are there some KW or groups of KW´s that are more sought after in one SE than in others?
Could we say for example: people looking for travel and travel related are going more often to AV than to Google
or people looking for specific computer related issues tend to look in google?
Could we relate groups of users to certain SEs?
Is there any statistical material on this?
