Stopword tip

It seems to me I read something, in this forum, about a stopword list that was published on Search engine quarterly magazine. Now I can find this tip anymore: had I dream of it? There is someone can give me some help?

You can always just do a search and just see If AV shows any listings (ignoring goto of course)......

Nice article. In creation of a site, I typically used the phrase "Directory of Sports Companies" - Any thoughts on how to eliminate the use of the word 'directory' but still emphasize the fact that the site contains all the sports companies out there on the internet. Know what I mean? any ideas?

It's not a solution for all sites, but sometimes there's a word that means directory or roster and fits the theme. On a military directory I used RollCall, for instance.

Register: etc.
Phrases: World Book, World DB, etc.
The Insiders Book, etc.
Complete DB,etc.

I am starting to have fun doing this.
