Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone had alot of experience with the Ask.com submission program on Positiontech.com

I know it goes out over Teoma's network and the like, but is this really worth it?

Do these sites get much volume of traffic? and if so, how do they convert? I have heard that mamma.com and Teoma convert pretty well on other threads, but just curious if you guys had any thoughts or suggestions.

Thanks!

Ask traffic can be good in some B2C areas like travel and conversion ratios are also high.

Certainly the traffic doesn't come up to the levels obtained from the big G, Yahoo and MSN - but can be worthwhile in certain markets.

May be worth doing (depending on your market) if you have some spare marketing spend if in the US. Really worth doing if you are B2C in the UK where useage is far higher than in the States.

As I and others have posted, Ask.com have recently been spending up big and purchased Excite.

So we should expect to see their traffic grow in the next few months (hopefully).

Submissions into the Ask.com index can be made directly from the ask.com site.

Hi
Do you think it would be worth the money to pay in Ask if are well positioned in natural results? My site is an travel site.

just checked up my position in Ask,
In Ask.com there are 10 sponsored result, before the natural and I am in top (from 1-5)in natural.

In Ask.co.uk there are 3 sponsored results before the natural, same their, in top.

Does people check the sponsored results more than natural web results?

Actually in stats I have more visits from Ask Jeeves co.uk than .com

If you want both .com and .co.uk, you have to pay for both.

"If you want both .com and .co.uk, you have to pay for both."

Correct. If you want to get into both Ask.com index and Ask.co.uk, you have to pay seperately.
