I've submitted several of my sites to Inktomi about 2 weeks ago. Some of them only had their homepages submitted and others had anything from 5 - 15 pages from the site submitted.

It seems to me that the sites which had some of their internal pages also submitted seem to rank far better than the sites which only had their homepages submitted.

Any comments anybody.

Heh, looks like some moderator decided to delete my original post which was here on this forum number address previously. It said pretty similar to what you're saying, so yours may get deleted too. GONE! just like our inktomi/Fast PFIs. An Inktomi/Fast shill moderator perhaps? Maybe it's an internet cleansing thing, anytime you mention Ink or Fast. Poof! Here is part of my e-mail notice that someone replied to the original post even.

Anyway what you're saying about a single page entry could partially explain the problem which I posted too. We only submitted our home page in that case, because it wasn't getting fed from Inktomi/Fast like a lot of other persons mentioning in this forum lately (IT's NOT JUST ME - YOU CAN'T STOP ALL OF US MODERATOR), but instead ALL our other "free" listings on that domain got deleted by alltheweb, lycos, etc. and we're still waiting to see our PFI listing for our home page get added in Fast. On Ink the only keywords it can be found under is the full URL path "www.****.com/xxxx.htm". I'll be happy to prove it to anyone who wants to sticky mail me, so I'm not just making this up! Of course they have refused to respond to all our e-mails over the last year. Would YOU deal with any OTHER company who forces you to pay for what others give away for free, then make things even worse, then refused to respond to your e-mails, and who makes it nearly impossible to find a valid phone number on their website. Get real folks, wake up! Ink/Fast is a SCAM!
