Considering this happened right after MyDoom was released, I'm guessing MyDoom is responsible for this.
Either way, I'm looking for a huge drop in traffic from Inktomi today.
I'm seeing something different. Keep clicking on NEXT>> until you reach the end of the looksmart listings. The Inktomi results will appear.
There's nothing at the end of the LookSmart listings for me.

LookSmart listings have been in and out of MSN since January.
I'm very well aware of that, and have also noticed over the past several weeks there's been a pattern to when Look listings are listed and when they're not. ( which currently the pattern seems to have been broken).

FYI, I've *only* seen INK results all day today on M$N, same as yesterday. No LS at all. At least 10 different checks throughout the day.
Not the first time that different people see different SERP's concurrently on M$N lately. But my INK traffic is down today, so that must be why.

It's the first time I've seen Inktomi results completely excluded from MSN.
Judging from my lack of INK traffic today, it could be a problem in a large area. I'd agree that what you're seeing doesn't make sense as a test of any kind.
Could be a regional feed thing then?
Possibly. I've checked the listings from 4 different locations via shell (LA, Houston, Richmond VA, and Philadelphia) and they all show MSN with Overture and LookSmart listings.

Unless they've decided to ONLY have listings that they'll get paid for, I don't think this was intentional.

Speaking of which, I still INK results today, no matter where I look. Any updates from other corners of the globe? Still too early in the day to tell by looking at M$N traffic.
