Rumors and buzz building about Yahoo! switch resulting in activity?

With all the talk of Yahoo dropping Google I was wondering if anyone has seen heightened spidering activity from Inktomi, or the other Yahoo! property spiders? The optimist in me likes to think that perhaps to compete with Google's index and algorithm it will spider more and deeper into sites, especially popular ones. Anyone currently being surprised by a good Slurping?

Yes I have seen an increase over the last 7 days with slurp taking a page a second. Not seen this type of activity for a long time, normally it was a page every 15-20 seconds.
Its a long awaited update lets hope its to our advantage when Yahoo do the full switch to Ink
