In summary I want to get some good serps on MSN. The Ink results are below a lot of LS results so I know I have to get into LS. The site would be considered commercial and not get accepted into Zeal.
It appears that MSN uses a different algo than LS when returning LS results.
Some people have claimed the serps in MSM are based only on the info (title, description and keywords) in looksmart, however human editors determine your title and description.
Does this information seem current?
Does the category you submit to matter for the MSM results?
What's the best way to ensure you get a title/description listed the way you want? I would imagine thet my submitted page content/title would have to support the title/description to LS.
Thanks,
Also, if the ROI is there, consider Overture (as that will get you above LS if you haven't already been using them, anyway). Then keep in mind, that for some keyword markets, MSN sells them direct as well...so, if possible, don't ignore that avenue (though I don't have details on that program - and it may get discontinued according to rumor).
