It looks as though a paid inclusion provider (who currently only offers Inktomi) is going to be adding FAST and Altavista to its offerings soon.

This may not be news to some "old hands" here - but its welcome news to me.

Why do you welcome it? Do you get any significant traffic from AV or Lycos?

I haven't seen any for over 2 years, maybe 3.

I see it as an insurance policy:

Paid inclusion for Fast and AV is cheap for just a home page.

Google won't be at the top for infinity.

Overture didn't fork out several hundred million for nothing.

spill the beans, obviously there's PT, though they offer PFI for Ink, Fast, and Teoma, and not AV, so you've got me interested.
