Priority submit ... from Trellian!

Anyone using them?

I am in talks with some kind of partnership deal with a company called Trellian, which offers a service called Priority Submit for paid SE's.

I have not heard them before, hence if any of you have some info/feedback on this company, kindly post your feedback here.

They have been around for a few years, as far as I know. I believe they have an affiliate program to resell a percentage of the inclusion fee(s) generated through the 'partnership'.

Have spoken with 1 person of their company in the past, seemed like a nice person. However, I have never done business with them.

I use them for my paid submits and have had no problems.

I used to use them for an instant messenger that combined, IRC, Yahoo, AOL and MSN.

Apart from that aspect never heard of them.

Yep, I've used them for a couple of years. They're fine.

The priority submit is to get into Inktomi's database, and respiders the URL every two days. The same service is provided by other companies too... I think Positiontech is probably the more familiar company to people here.

Either way, if you want to get listed fast and updated regularly it does do that, but only for the pages you pay for... everything else is on a normal schedule.

You might want to do a site search here about Inktomi and whether having paid for one or more pages to be listed might inhibit free inclusion of the rest of your pages.. there've been a few discussions. That's an Inktomi thing though, not specific to Trellian. Nothing confirmed, but an impression that some of us using the service have got from experience.
