I have a couple of pages that have been at around position 10 (pure search) for a while for a certain keyphrase, no matter what I tried, nothing seemed to improve the ranking. I checked yesterday, and they are at position 1 and 2, I didn't do any changes to the pages, the only thing different is that I got a few links (with keyphrase in the links) from some popular sites (many people link to these sites).
Has anyone noticed such a boost simply from inbound textual links with the keyprase? I know this is important with Google, but did not realise was that important with Ink
