inktomi and subdirs

Would you get more traffic from an inktomi inclusion if you submitted a suburl,

e.g www.mydomain.com/keyword1
vs. www.mydomain.com

I reason that in the first case you have two keywords in the domain (your domain name and the subdirectory name)..is this true?
