I recently submitted three sites to Ink.

I see that all of the sites have a recent refresh date when I log into my account. But when I use HotBot, they all have old dates. When I first submitted all of the sites, they were appreaing in HotBot with a recent refresh date, which has since reverted back to an old date.

One of my sites was not in the index prior to me submitting with Position Tech. Upon submission, the same time that I saw all of my sites with a recent refresh, this site was ranking well for my desired terms. Then, at the same time as the revert to the old date, this site disappeared and no longer ranks within the top 2000 for my terms. No changes have been made to this site either.

Is this normal behavior?

No offence, but is it possible you were dropped for spamming?

Something's fluctuating at Inktomi lately. I had some PFI pages which were putzing along with a handful of visitors a day -- enough to make the PositionTech fee cost-effective but not much more. Last week for a few days the traffic was suddenly up at least tenfold, but now it's down to the previous level. The pages in question have had no tweaks recently - they're doing well at Google so I'm leaving well enough alone.

could be that MSN or rather Looksmart bidders have run out of credit towards the end of the month, and more Inktomi results were being shown.
