The only difference that I am aware of between the Ink PFI providers are services and management interfaces. I've only used PositionTech since it first started a few years ago. I've not had any experience with the others. Based on what I've read, they all pretty much offer the same thing. I believe prices are fixed across the board.

I know that verisigns description of where you are included was very, very out of date at one point. :)

So, I would probably rule them out as a serious provider of 'service'.

Best to stick with one of the others.

I can only say that in 2yrs of using PT I have never had any 'cross-selling' emails offering me other 'services'. Importantly, neither have any of our clients for whom we use PT.

The only pain being a UK user is paying in $ with no VAT.

We use ineedhits and have done so for 2 years without any problems. They have recently improved the reporting side of things and I can now quickly get the info I need from them without any hassle. I do get emails from them but that isnt really such a big deal to worry about.

Just for comparison, I tried Verisign. I found out they charge you the first url fee of $39 every time you start an addurl session, even if it's only one url each time. So I'd say they're trying to prey on the newbies that don't know there are alternatives that don't try to fleece you, alternatives like PT who I normally use.

Also, after a week at Verisign the statistics still haven't started to show.

I don't register URL's at Verisign anymore because they fleece you, trying to collect 2-3X the competitive rate, and I'm not going to use their Ink PFI program either.

Verisign, IMHO, is a place for the uneducated to loose their money.

I don't know if you have seen it and not sure how the prices compare (because they are in £'s and might be cheaper or more expensive) but Webwurld (part of Webgravity) is a portal site to do Ink, Looksmart, AV and a few other bits, plus the payments include VAT, so if you are VAT registered you can reclaim.

As I have stated in other posts, I have accounts with most of the providers. The basically do the same, however the best in my opinion is ineedhits.com

Verisign is the worst.
