You probably do better if you try to define your target with two or three word combinations, that better explain what your site is offering.
As Henki has mentioned Thailand is a very competitive destination and their are numerous quality websites with hundreds of pages of information in them. Your best bet would be to target 2 to 3 word phrases so you can capture your target audience.
Perhaps running the higher ranked sites through the various tools available to you at searchengineworld.com would give you a better idea of your competitors "off the page" features (number of links, link reputation etc.) By studying this information and comparing this to what you currently have, you will grasp a great idea of what you need to do to crack the top 50 for "Thailand".
Also bear in mind that it can take search engines much longer than a week to index your site. I've noticed that in AV it takes time to move up in the rankings even after being indexed.
