My website is well listed(within top 50) on Google, alltheweb, altavista with one special key phrase. I use inktomi PFI service, but I can not find my website within top 1000 with that special key phrase(I searched several times).

I really do not understand how does inktomi rank a website. I think maybe PFI doesn't work as well as free inclusion.

Hi hotice_2002

Inktomi's PFI is on a fee per page basis - have you paid for one page, or all of them?

If a limited number of pages, is it possible that your phrase is not as prominent on the particular page you have selected?

I do alright with Ink's PFI, very similar placements as on other SEs... but I find it interesting that a year later none of my unpaid pages have been indexed. There's been some debate here about whether paying for Ink puts you to the back of the free inclusion list for the rest of your pages - presumably in the hope that if you've paid for one, you'll pay for the rest.

Thanks deejay,
I believe that the webpage has been included is a well designed and optimized webpage(never spamming). I only submit one webpage to Ink PFI service. Should I submit more webpages which linked to my index page? But I still can not understand the position of my webpage which is out of top 1000 on INK with special key phrase.
Who has ever met this kind of thing?
