Inktomi is not updating

Hello,

Inktomi didn't refresh my site since 2/August/2002 !

It's free inclusion, but they should update it every 2 weeks !

Can some one tell me what's going on?

With free inclusion you are at inktomis mercy for updates. They have been showing quick updates lately but I am not sure it is the entire index.The only alternative is to pay for 48 hour spidering.

It looks to me like INK has developed their own equivalent of Google's Page Rank in order to determine crawl frequency for individual pages. I have several pages with good incoming links (be it from DMOZ, or from other sites). The pages that have a bunch of pages (or high PR DMOZ cats) get crawled at least every two weeks, other pages get hit once a month or less.
