I used to be able to tell a 'paid' site from a 'BOW' or free entry by looking at the url in the SERP.

The paid listings would have a redirect rather than their plain URL.

Can't see this anymore - all I see is normal URLs for all my paid sites.

Anyone seeing different?

I'm still seeing the redirect west, at least on Pure Search.

Mouse over still shows redirect west for our paid listings.

So what has happened is that Inktomi and MSN have gone in the opposite direction from the Gov't recommendations to make it clear who is paying and who isn't.

The grey url line shows the target page on the customers site -but not the whole thing. I suppose to keep down the copying and pasting. That would cost them money. :)

But when you mouse-over the title/link you can see the usual redirect-west.inktomi etc.

I'm wondering something else that would go along with this, Is anyone seeing that they are being charged by both Ink and Looksmart for the same clicks? I'm not seeing very many looksmart listings interspersed in the ink results.

No, you aren't going to get double charged...
Even if you participate in both programs, the display URL means nothing.. The "redirect" URL dictates whether it's Inktomi or Looksmart providing the inclusion URL.

I'll bet they feel it doesn't apply to them, since a site is not paying for position but only for inclusion.
