This just adds insult to injury. I never wrote that L$ crap in the first place. L$ changed my title, left out my best KW and looks amateurish with that "Find..."
Inktomi promisses to crawl our sites every 48 hours. So what are they crawling for if all they are doing now is using L$ titles and descriptions? I want my meta info up there like they promissed when they took my money.
LookSmart started this crap last year by charging additional fees to correct the lousy description that they gave many of our websites. Of course, in many instances, that was altered as well. Now their unethical reach is affecting one of the few places left that I felt would use the meta info which properly reflected the actual website theme.
IMHO - This is a bad move on the part of Inktomi. This significantly adds to their declining image. Now they have lost all credibility.
Update: Just this morning I received notice from PositionTech that they had contacted Inktomi and was told they would fix it... and viola, it is now how it should be - and it only took 6 weeks :)
