Can't get listed in Inktomi

I just can't get my site listed in Inktomi, even though I have paid for it.

I have used the Verisign SureList Service so I would get indexed by Inktomi. I got spidered several times, but the report shows that there was some error. Google, AV and CO. however, don't have a problem with my Site at all.

Can anyone help? The major Swiss Portal has changed to Inktomi Technology, so I really depend on this! Thanks already...

Inktomi does not read noframes tags (unlike the others) and is trying to index your first frameset which then calls another frameset (as far as Ink is concerned). Inktomi will not index these pages as it is currently constructed, I'm afraid.

My best advice is get rid of the frames.

Do you recommend building a special page for Inktomi and submitting that? I have frameloaders in all my content pages.

Oh, and and another question: Where could I see the fresh Index first? Would that be Hotbot?

I have now posted the main content page for indexing. All major links are on there, so Inktomi should be able to follow them.

Thanks for the Link. Strange: The results on there are different then the ones on www.bluewin.ch even though it uses inktomi technology.

I have just found one of my newer sites listed on Inktomi, even though I have never submitted it and it is using frames too! Is there any logic?
