Inktomi.

What does that mean? Nothing.
What does it evoke? Nothing. Sounds Japanese - it's actually American Indian.
The logo? Looks like a target crossed with a spider web.

I think a new name, new logo, and new branding would do Ink a great deal of good.

Sure worked for gOverture.

Somebody set me straight in hurry if I'm wrong, but I thought when I bought "pages" in the PT program that it leveled the playing field and I had just as much of a chance at the top positions as the next guy. I understand that it's an "inclusion" program but it's obvious that the algo still plays a part in "ranking". At least thats what I thought. There's a growing mound of compelling evidence that INK may be "penalizing" paid pages.....I think there needs to be disclosure about these sorts of things when there's a "fee" involved.

I'm sure the lawyers worded everything just so, so that INK will never have to answer to anybody for anything...perhaps we'll see how the market recieves such an attitude over the long haul.

<added /> INK needs to rebuild trust with it's customers.

>>>Sure worked for gOverture.

But you forgot to mention that GoVerture delivers traffic. Ink might want to consider that as an option to add to their makeover...
