And if that's the case is it also safe to say these pages are not being picked up by INK's spidering but rather being purchased or borrowed by INK which would account for the DMOZ description.
Guess I'll be digging to see if I've missed something. We only pay attention to "refers" so if INK has picked up some of our pages we would only know in when it starts to generate refers.
We stopped caring what's indexed in favor of what's producing a long time ago...

Oh, and guess what - that site is still nicely indexed in DMOZ. Bet there's going to be some interesting talk about DMOZ around the Inktomi water cooler today...

If it's just a time thing who would ever dream of paying for a page. And if you pay for one page - will the rest of the site be ignored?
My understanding is INK has a cap on the amount of docs in the db they serve up - so who gets bumped out for the paid and/or "free found" pages.
