NSI customers given top listings?

Inktomi to give top listings to NSI customers.

I've been reading the NSI announcement about paid Inktomi listings and it actually said that their domain owners would get top positions over others. Inktomi says the same. This can be very bad for folks like myself who are using other much better registars. Could help NSI customers though.

Welcome to the Inktomi forum of WW. I seem to be overlooking the part about "top position". I understand they will index the home page within 48 hours and continue to spider it - but I can't seem to find anything about getting top positions for pay.

Would you mind posting the pages here where you ran across that.

It was somewhere in NSI. Couldn't find it again though. It was worded similarly as the Inktomi press release. Maybe they meant they were the first to do this kind of agreement but it seems that it did say that top positions would be given to NSI customers. Somewhere at NSI. Never could navigate their mess very well.
