Looksmart Description

A site of mine was listed in looksmart roughly a year ago. The original listing was decent, but less than perfect. At the end of this september, almost exactly 3 months ago, I had the looksmart description changed to something about as good as it gets.

As many of you know, a looksmart description becomes the description in ink. This was the case with this site for it's initial listing. However, the inktomi description still shows the old looksmart description and has not been updated. Is this a database that is set NOT to update once a description has been pulled from looksmart, or am I just impatient? Anybody have similar experiences?

I am assuming your page is from the old database and not a paid page??? Yes??? I have a lot of them and like you no changes have been picked up in a long time.

Sure makes you wonder how stale that db is these days...

Exact same thing over here ggrot. This was a paid page for about a month, yet it still sticks in ink even though I stopped paying, (#1 position), and it uses my old L$ description.

Yes, Im not paying ink either. However, the serp date reads this month, so it would appear that the page is still being updated. I'm getting plenty of spiders too. And finally, I'm showing up for searches on terms that I don't believe I used too long ago(although low in the SERPS).
