Did some searches today in overture.com & did not show results from PT's submission programme which they previously did.-why ?

This happened last month as well, normally the ink results are back pretty quick. Lets face it the results on overture certainly look pretty weak without ink

I just checked on Overture for a site that went live last January and was never paid for, so I haven't bothered checking Ink for it. The Ink results were there when I looked for this site, and since the index page comes up on searches at Overture, I checked the others.

The site is doing similarly at Overture, AOL, Iwon and HotBot for some product-specific phrases, but not at MSN. For a phrase that's holiday specific (the "holiday" words did not even appear on the site prior to a few months ago) it's right up there at the others - not a sign of it at MSN.

I'm deliberately checking for obscure phrases that have no Overture bids or LS listings, to be able to compare. What I'm seeing, with this site that was not paid for, is a whole different flavor of Ink results at MSN than the other partner sites.

;) :) ;) :)

How about this (no paid results):

"Sorry, no matching search listings were found.
We were unable to find any search listings matching your query.
Please try again with some other search terms.
You might try using fewer terms or being less specific."

I used two words.

I do remember this happening once before though...

I just checked a number of phrases and I'm still seeing Ink results at Overture.

Hmm must be their database problem again which happen so often lately with all their partners - now the paid results are showing again!consider this a no post as the results are showing again .THere's now results for free search engine too.:)

Goto is now in direct competition with Dinktomi for ppc $$$, it makes sense that they would stop feeding Dink's results as they muscle in on goto's territory with their xml program.

Littleman make a stong point - how long would you be willing to pay your direct competitor for their product?

Bumping my Overture reports up against their Inventory Tool numbers, it looks to me like the tool reports all partner searches.
