Anybody else do this?

Does anyone else put the keyword in the title twice and three times in the description and two or three times in the metas to stay ahead of the rest of the fellow spammers?

I have been trying to find a good balance with this, and it is proving difficult. I certainly never go more than 3 mentions of a word on the META's and never more than twice in the title. Have you gone over 3, toolman? Does it work?

I think I might have gone overboard on the most recent page I tried to optimize for. my KW density for one word was 19% and the KW density for the targeted phrase is around 17%.

I have not seem much written on KW PHRASE density. What do those range around?

This is so much fun...one day the site is here the next couple of days it's there..until you get out front.

Seems to me 2 in title and 3 in desc with a little touch in the metas works pretty good where I'm at so far.

yep I'll go along with that I've just checked some recently submitted PT pages most with the above layout have gone in within the top 3 on most of ink's partners including MSN.

But it's so nice of them to allow us to crack the algo. Mighty generous of them at 12 bucks a page.

I cracked the algo for free a long time ago - rather resent paying when there are directory and GOTO listings on top. In most of my keywords and phrases you have to wade through dozens of directoy and GOTO listings to find me in the #1 inktomi spot - paid spot that is.

...spending my money elsewhere. But glad it's working for some.

Couldn't agree more stcrim. The Look$mart desc are what irritates me the most at M$N. It muddies the "purposeful" title I put on the page.

Nevertheless the quick refreshes makes it worthwhile to run circles around the unenlightened.
