Iwon now serves nothing but GoTo results, both paid and unpaid. So now we have Iwon, Go (the zombie) and GoTo all serving identical SERPS. Not a good 36 hours for Inktomi I fear. First Canada and now Iwon! Eeek.

ahh makemetop I was just arriving to report the same information. It does look like iWon is now serving Partner Search results from keyword searches on their home page from GoTo. I conducted a search on GoTo and got the exact same listings I did in iWon.

It seems to me that Iwon shows first the Goto listing and after that listing the Inktomi listing.

In fact the searchers do not realize that the first listings are goTo listings.

I went down 4 pages and it is just the GoTo DB, first paid results and then GoTo's version of Ink - but everything from GoTo. I couldn't see anything but Partner results.

So then, if goto's supplementary results are Ink anyway, then iwon is still getting the same, but without the partnership agreement, and consequently no $ changing hands. Is that a correct assumption?

You are right! The two versions (Inktomi and GoTo's version of Ink) are very similar.

I were used to checking the Inktomi ranking on Iwon: where can I check pure Ink results now?
Maybe to Hotbot selecting 25 result listings?

BTW, iwon happened to be listed in "FC's Super Happy Fun Slander Corner!" early this AM. Rumor: about to layoff more people. Coincidence?

Can someone explain what goto versions of inktomi is after the paid results? How does it differ from the version of inktomi that hotbot uses?
