PT Now allows unlimited URL Substitution

After my still unresolved issues with NSI (see thread about NSI turnaround time) I called PT to inquire if they plan on allowing unlimited URL substitution in the near future and was very surprised to learn that they do now.

Even though the account manager section still says you are limited to 2 changes, I was assured by the support person I spoke with that this is no longer the case. and I think I asked the question about 3 x just to make certain I was getting the correct info... That indeed you can replace URL's as many times as you like, exactly as you can with the NSI program..

I told her that I had heard nothing of this and I wasn't aware of any others in this business that knew of this change at PT either..

If anyone else would like to verify this please do so, as multiple confirmations of this change would be welcome..

The person I spoke with said they were unaware that the account manager still showed a limit of 2 URL substitutions allowed.. and will have their techs fix it.

I was also told that even though the new pricing is announced on the site, it is not actually in effect at this time.

If what I was told is true and I have no reason to doubt it, this is great news as $12 for URL's and unlimited URL substitutions make PT's offering clearly superior especially when combined with their quick turnaround and superior support.

But what happens to the page that gets replaced? Obviously, it won't get the same Slurp visitation frequency, but what about it's overall fate? Does it get purged from the database, or bumped down in rankings, or does it just stay where it is?
