I have no reason to think it's not. The person at ink was very nice. The department was search support (I assume for their customers, Goto, Snap, etc)
I can't begin to tell you what this has cost us, but knowing it's likely going to be OK has brought a little peace of mind (rather than piece of mind)
Steve
Yippee! I thought I was losing it when I couldn't get my stuff in and then what was in was dropping like flies. I will be anxiously watching ink to see what happens.
Thanks for the info!

"BIG THANKS" from the uk, there's still hope yet for all my doorways that have vanished and have been re submitted.
I'll put the rope away !!
I wonder who is going to be the first to start jumping up and down when there rankings start to re appear ( i've already got my binoculars out hunting for our friendly spider !!!)
My grandfather use to always say - "You can never be too paranoid"
I can't imagine them discarding every single submission made in the last 2 or so months, which is what is missing from the database right now.
The guy I talked with seemed more like a tech then PR and didn't have any reason to mislead me...
Steve
Man, I hope you're right! There's nothing like the power of positive thinking, I guess. Are you just hopeful or do you know something we don't? (well, I know you know a LOT of things I don't! :) )

Call Inktomi (650)653-2800
- ask for Search Support-
Maybe you guys will get someone more knowledgeable.
--I have a feeling that this guy wasn't too informed. He had no idea about a major page drop in the last week.
