My most likely scenario -- Inktomi becomes irrelevant. It's almost that way now.

I'm not a very suspicious person by nature, in fact I can be extremely gullible. But I just feel it in my gut -- the last few months of bizarre behavior from INK was an attempt to generate demand for this latest concept. When I remember those fruitless hours I put in just before I woke up and wrote INK off, I get very angry.

If this recent period has been a marketing gambit -- then it's the stupidest marketing gambit ever. Abuse people and then ask them to pay you to stop -- wait a minute, that sounds very familiar, now that I think about it.
