'Twas the night before New Year and all through the forum,
not a member was posting, with not-quite decorum
All websites were hosted with the utmost of care
in faint hope that spiders, would soon be there.

Web Masters were sitting with family and friends,
taking a break from programs and mends.
For algos and listings had been pulled apart,
and now it was time to just walk in the park.

Then out in the forums there arose such a sound,
I just had to check to see what had been found.
A new Engine perhaps, or Directory now live?
Not at all, just welcoming, Two Thousand and Five.

-----

Happy New Year to all WebmasterWorld Members wherever you are.
May 2005 be more than you are hoping for.

Peace, health, wisdom, and happiness in 2005.

We're all brothers and sisters here, a worldwide community with generally similar aspirations. Looking forward to bigger and better things, all of us together.
