I wondered when someone would get around to it.

Happy Festivus to you too!

What day is it on actually? I had thought Festivus was on the 23rd, but I couldn't remember.

I was really into the The Airing of Grievances yesterday, so I just forgot to post it yesterday. :(

"Festivus is not over until you pin me."

Classic.

I haven't been pinned yet, so technically, MY Festivus hasn't ended.

Try as I may, I simply can't get the Japanese to accept Festivus as a reason to take off work. They won't even let me take Christmas off...

Really, Festivus is a lot healtier. Think about it; bottling it all up putting on a fake smile mind-numbingly crooning carols is not gonna help your arteries.

This is an outrage... looks like you're going to have to go on strike, holding a sign that says :

Festivus YES!
SEM NO!

I agree...most people in Japan get the 23rd off...but they don't know it's Festivus. They think it's the Emperor's Birthday. I think it's the "Feats of Strength" part where I lose the majority of them...

Over the years I have caused sorrows (and some pleasures) for myself and others by committing sins and follies from a very broad register, but smile-faking and carol-crooning never were among them. Perhaps this is part of the reason why numbness of the mind has never been among my major problems.

Smiling genuine smiles is very healthy for your arteries. So is singing. If you mean what you sing.
