This weekend I hit the thirftstore to pick up some stuffed animals for my puppy. She likes to tear them up, and they only cost about 50 cents at a thirfstore, so i let her chew them up as much as she wants. (keeps her busy)
anyways as i was eyeballing the usual mound of junk, I spied out a compaq cds520. Many many years ago I wanted one of these things, because i thought it was cool that the monitor ans speakers and cpu and everything was built into the same chasis. Eyeballing the price tag of 9 bucks, i decided to take it home just to play with.
Well, i brought it home and noticed it had 2 network cards installed in the back. I fired it up and i was tickled pink to see freebsd was installed and watched it mount all the drives and prompt me for a login.
I am not a unix user, but i always wanted to play with a linux box. Now i had a neat one before me for only 9 bucks, but i have no idea how to log into this thing.
Are there any default logins for freebsd, or am i pretty much screwed unless I am the one who set it up?
I would like to give it a shot before i whipe out the HD.
let me know.
