It's one of those games you just don't want to end. It's almost like a very well made and written movie where you play the leading roll.
Set in the 1930's with acurate car modeling and sound effects coupled with excelent artificial intelegence engine and awsome graphics. Great game that currently has me hooked.

All 5 Star games :)
A classic if ever there was one (like the level where you enter the gameshow of death so that you can return home to Earth ;))
My vote goes to any of the doom/quake family. Playing way too much Quake 3 recently ;)

And those weird flashing stripes and screaming noises...
Interestingly, all on the SNES.
Xenon 2 and Turrican on the Sega Megadrive were pretty great, too.
stavs: I remember playing Frontier: Elite II on my amiga 600, but by god it was baffling. I think I was in hyperspace for ten minutes, looking for anything that would clue me the hell up.
Herzog Zwei on the Genesis was pretty cool, too? I believe it was the first Command-and-Conquer-style "real-time strategy" game. I still have a copy.
For party games, nothing beats Bomberman on the SNES.
But Quake I & II have got to be my favorites.

Damn, if i'd have known that you use xp now, i' wouldn't have done the research to find the download (seriously joking).
If ya need a old mac for your retro gaming moods, drop me a sticky ... joking again, i don't give my ole macs to people who use xp, lol ;)
>old appleII
