WebmasterWorld's Brett Tabke was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at a ceremony in Las Vegas on 12 October, 2016, US Search Awards.

This is a very well deserved award, and on behalf of the WebmasterWorld Community, thank you for all you've done.
For those that may not know, Brett Tabke has worked in the computer industry for more than three decades and founded a specialty software business producing a line of software for Commodore computers in the '80s and '90s. He authored several books on assembly language programming for Western Design on the 65816 microprocessor, and was the noted author of Karma 128, a leading edge assembler for the 65816 processor.
Brett has run community networking sites since the early days of stand-alone BBS systems in 1984 through to the present day with forums such as WebmasterWorld. He also coined several SEO staples such as “Link Farm”, “SEO Themes”, and the classic “SERP” (Search Engine Results Page) that we all use. He was also featured in the Biography Channel special on the Google founders. He also wrote a chapter for the best selling “Google Hacks” book.
