Sorry this is a simple question... I see this: 'lol' in posts and do not understand the meaning. It means Laugh-out-loud or List-of-links to me, but this does not seem to fit the contexts.?

Here you go, what's the prize? :)

It's almost the weekend, prize for the first person to translate this...

One day at work my boss caught me looking at webmasterworld instead of analysing server logs.

The conversation went like this.

"Ross what are you doing? I think we need a face to face. We needed the reports yesterday. What happened!"

My response was "beat the s**t out of me". My boss, for your information, is a bast**d webmaster from hell. We are never going to be best freidns for life. I don't think he likes me because I once told him to read the f**king manual.

Sometimes I wish he would f**k off and die. The reports didn't get done because I was out on the piss last night and can't remember a f**king thing.

Anyway got to go, need to get those reports done.

Laughing out loud, sitting in my chair amused and naked in front of computer.

Bit easy really wasn't it. Should have asked everyone what a 'meadowhall dab' was instead.

The prize is a crate of Kronenbourg just waiting here for you. Best be quick though.

Sweating while going round Meadowhall shopping?

:)

And if I'm correct that means you're in Sheffield too so you can drop the beer off while you're in town ;)

Cheers,
Nigel

ya know Ive been under the impression that lol meant "lots of laughs" for many years! Thanks for seeting me right.

Another one that seems to be interpreted differently but more important. I thought IMHO meant "in my humble opinion" However it seems most interpret it as "in my honest opinion". I dont want to use the latter as it suggests your other opinions are less than honest!

There's no such thing as less honest and acknowledging that yer humble means you aren't. Humble doesn't come in degrees, nor does honesty.

Be an honest prick. If you're right and you're honest no one can fault you, if you're wrong and you're honest people will love you, if you're a lying prick people will elect you...

<waiting on that edit ;)>
