Anyone else having problems? I continue to connect with WebmasterWorld and much of the rest of the Web just fine.
No doubt it will be embarrasing to those who were not patched.
If that 'timing' situation is legitimate, this attack may only serve to validate that there are some real Bill Gates haters out there who are not beyond making their points in abstract ways.
At least, that's the way I see it. Anyway, in time we'll all have a better understanding regarding the particulars of the attack. Hopefully even a bonifide source to blame.

Hell yeah! Since Jakob just survived the latest google update (despite pages of webmaster world posts pointing out the hidden microtext, and numerous people who claimed they also submitted a spam report) - so surviving a nuclear war would be easy for Jacob/Jakob!
Personally - 'no action' didn't send a clear message GG.
Actually - I suppose it does - it indicate that either 'hidden text is ok with google'; or that spamreports are ignored.
Maybe next update we'll be able to make a definitive call. I'm tracking several other high profile sites who have adopted a similar 'optimisation' strategy - so far - they all came through this index unscathed too....
