2. A Science Channel documentary about the "biggest explosions in the universe" was narrated by John Shrapnel.
3. A Weather Channel documentary about hurricanes changing behavior over water and inland featured Dr. Chris Landsea.
4. And the one that always makes me chuckle is the infomercial for a pivoting board that turns you upside down to decompress the spine - invented by Roger Teeter.
And, of course, the racing driver called Scott Speed.
This is true only in the sense that Private Eye made it up. ;) Their firm of lawyers was Sue, Grabbit and Runne. LOL
I can see this is going to be a classic thread.

kind of a twist, but my first pediatrician was a dr. geisel - we called him dr. suess after theodore geisel.
my second pediatrician was named dr. haydock.
on a tangent, there was a freshman dormitory at my school named after a mr. hall.
of course the dormitory was named hall hall.
the dorm across the quad often had a "hall hall sucks sucks!" chant going.
