comScore Reports Google U.S. April Ad Views Up

Google Inc showed strong growth in its ability to convert Web searches into ads viewed, according to a closely watched industry report quoted by analysts on Thursday, and its shares rose 2.5 percent.

Web tracking firm comScore Inc's monthly report on "paid clicks" showed Google's U.S. growth at 19.6 percent in April from a year ago, compared with growth of 2.7 percent in March and 3.1 percent in February, according to analysts.

I've noticed Adwords in the past two months adding a lot of new extemely sorry sites as Search Partners in my areas. Most are no more than glorified MFA sites that should be relegated to the content network and not even there. I have no doubt they're generating healthy new income for Google but I'm seeing few conversions. Extremely questionable clicks. To compensate I'm pulling Google Adwords, like many of my competitors have already done, after the first 10-12 days of June. Can't afford all these junk clicks. My advertising will now become more selective with Google when they pull stunts like this.
