I built a scow!

first attempt at boatbuilding.

hi all, I thought you would like to admire a pic of a little plywood boat I had made in my garage. It looks a little dumpy, but it floated real good and was fun to build as well! it was my first attempt at boatbuilding. It was so fun I plan on building another one. :)

Right now, the town docks are brim-full of snowbirds, maybe I'll sign on and go see Liane.

You are welcome anytime RC! Maybe you could help me teach the KATS sailing programme (local kids aged 9 to 16). We just got 6, brand new Lasers! Great fun. Come on down to the warm and sunny British Virgin Islands.

Be forewarned though ... lots of snowbirds down this way too!

I don't think that'd be a good idea, Liane ...I've been known to pitch-pole a Hobie in my need for speed. (There's nothing quite like looking down at a huge mass of rigging and sails floating in the water and know that in a nanosecond you're going to be right down there with it.)
