Places in general, well them we got.
The Tutaekuri River runs just a few miles from here. Kuri is the Maori word for dog, and tutae means sh... umm.. excrement. It's literally the dog poo river. And yeah, it often runs a bit brown.
My guy went hunting in the Urewera mountain ranges - a huge national park here - a couple of months ago. I just learnt last week that Urewera is Maori for 'burnt male body part that rhymes with venus'. Yum.

We have a whole county named Humbug.
At the mouth of the Coumbia River you will find Cape Dissapointment (WA side).
There is also the puzzling little town called Riddle, Oregon, the answer is most surely 42.
The only thing really interesting about Christmas Valley, OR is that it's in the middle of the biggest most desolate desert in Oregon.
