Remember, you have to tell what it does or find a link that explains what the object does. ;)

What is this?! [i131.photobucket.com]

Does it go on your finger? Picking out a bad knitting stitch or something?

eelixduppy

5:26 pm on Mar 18, 2007 (gmt 0)

nope. The only thing you've said that is correct is that it goes on the finger :)

An antique device used for poisoning people. Probably from the middle ages. You put it on the finger and then prick your enemy while handshaking with the poisoned tip.

eelixduppy

5:34 pm on Mar 18, 2007 (gmt 0)

Won't get it until the end. When I am dead? Perhaps a device for the seemingly dead. To dig yourself up from your grave when you have been buried alive?

Or a tool for marking the spot where the nails are put into the coffin?

LOL! - no. The end of the gizmo quiz ;)

A sex toy of some sort?

No. I got it. Your wedding ring!

No seriously: Is it used as a tool or for protecting the finger?

eelixduppy

5:43 pm on Mar 18, 2007 (gmt 0)

Is it used in hunting? To carry the shot birds?

Does the little hole serve any purpose or is it there just accidently?

eelixduppy

5:51 pm on Mar 18, 2007 (gmt 0)

I do not believe the hole serves any purpose. If it does, none that I can see. As for hunting, no. Not used for hunting.

Is it used for holding multiple shopping bags?

eelixduppy

> shopping bags

No; think smaller than shopping bags - fingers, even.

I was going to suggest it was part of a splint but thought that was wrong, that holds a finger.

eelixduppy

6:10 pm on Mar 18, 2007 (gmt 0)

Nope, not a splint. No medical purpose at all. If anything, the object it holds is hazardous.

When it's used to hold something - does that mean holding in the sense of impaling something on the pin or in the sense of hanging something on it.
