flash player

I want to spawn a player not a page

This may be moved to the software forum but here's my problem anyhow. I have made a little kids game using Actionscript, and I want to get it to spawn in a flash player rather than have it placed in a separate page. I have thought about simply fitting it in a popup page with it's size preset and non resizable to give the same effect, but is it possible to link it to open in a flash player?

I have not seen a way to do it. The problem is the mime type associated with it will be the browser. Another problem is that the Flash player is not widely owned, just the plug-in. The only thing I can think of is to make people unzip it with the Flash player installer.
