newbie.how to save flash video

Hi,
i was just trying to save a flash file onto my computer but as of yet have had no luck. These are the things i have tried:
(1) I've downloaded countless of files that convert and i have one but i dont know how to get the file out of the temp folder because as soon as it leaves that folder it doesnt work anymore

(2) i've tried looking at the source and finding the swf file without succession

(3)I'bve tried taking the file from the temp files folder and pasting it into windows media and that works but i can't 'save as' the file

Does anyone have any suggestions of what else i could try or how i could try the above steps differently? any help would be much appreciated.
