Do Flash and HTML mix?

I'm new to Flash and here is my one allowed stupid question.
I purchased a Flash template and am having a good time customizing it for my need. But I want to do something and I'm not sure such a thing is possible.
The homepage is all Flash. There are several animated buttons on the homepage which, when selected, open a new page within the center of the homepage itself. It reminds me of changing the channels on a plasma TV set mounted on a decorated wall: the wall stays the same, just the image inside the TV screen changes. All the new "channels" or pages display as Flash. Here is my question - Can I cause one of the new pages or "channels" selected to be a standard HTML webpage and still display within that area the Flash pages display in? If so, how does a newbie do such a thing? Thanks for your time.

Not really no, although you could possibly embed html within a text box

Thank, Richard, I had that feeling it couldn't.
