can someone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong¿ I just tried to publish a Flash MX movie as a QuickTime .mov and for some reason I can't get any sound out of it. I don't even get sound from the .fla movie when published. And I tried everything the manual said, but the manual is full of crap half the time. Can anyone help¿

what flash player version are you publishing for?

Difficult to know without a lot more info, simple thing, have you put a stop action at the end of the timeline to stop it looping?

In respect of quicktime not don this but will have a look at the manuals and get back to you tomorrow (UK time) if thats OK

I'm using Flash MX 2004 PC. This is just one of those "scene after scene" kinda movies, so I shouldn't have to use any other scripts than what I already have.
And I appreciate the help but you don't have to go out of your way to figure this out. I just don't have a clue as to what I'm doing wrong and was just asking around.
Thanks alot though!

you could be loosing the music on switching scenes... try putting the music in a seperate movie with a loadMovieNum() action. This should work in flash, not sure about quicktime.

hey,
I havent published anything in flash lately but i do remember having a problem similar to that. When you go into publish settings hit the flash tab up tob and change the flash version to a previous one, for instance flash version 4. then try to publish it and see what happens.

actually, I just had to stream all the sounds for some reason, and add a stop script after I added a keyframe at the end. That worked somehow, but thanks for the help everyone! I really appreciate it.
