batch importing Frame by frame animation into flash linear timeline

I've done this in Director a 100 times before but I carn't seem to find a way to import frames of an animation straight into the flash timeline without doing it frame by frame - Is there a solution to this basic animation proceedure in Flash?

I presume you are talking about static drawings one per frame?

I so just make sure they are numbered sequentially and in their own folder, ie 1.png 2.png etc then file>import to stage, select the first one and flash should pick up they are a sequence and ask if you want to import them all.

It then places them on sequential key frames on the timeline.

Cheers richard - I thought it should be a simple proceedure shame they don't explain it in the help notes.
