I own Flash MX profession and never have used it. I plan to make an neat little splash page for one of my google ads to see I can keep them at our site a little longer. I'm on a dedicated server with IIS & MySQL and not much more.
What do I need to install to be able to serve up my flash object I create on my web pages or is it all just in the player?

its all in the player, just embed the movie in your webpage.
the flah servewr component is for database applications and high end communications.
